its basically just a huge wireless router.
its not called 4G its call “WiMAX” and it’s been around for quite a few years, but since demand and cost isn’t great, it hasn’t excelled too much. Nokia makes PDAs that handle WiMAX

We can, but there’s no point in being trapped into a contract/data plan when you can get Pay and Go. The iPhone is much more expensive this way, though.
macNdow, they will force a data plan on it. That’s not only done for iPhone, it’s pretty much forced on any smartphone user from pretty much every carrier. Smartphones, no matter what it is, usually come with forced data plans.

the world now has a phone with 3.5g
what apple has is a 3g.
so what i presume would be apple will release a 4g phone.
The world is under recession, and to help prevent recession from further getting worst, governments are asking people to spend to boost the economy. And furthermore raw materials are cheap, so why wouldnt apple release it?
This New OS 3.0 is just to prevent the other iphone users from feeling left out once the 4g iphone releases.
